Paint outer and inner edges of frame. Paint back if desired. Let dry.
Make a button stack starting with a large button. Stack 3-4 buttons of different colors and decreasing sizes. Make three more similar stacks. Make four stacks with a medium and a small button of different colors. Set aside eight small buttons of different colors. Tie each stack and single button with floss, knotting on the top. Trim floss ends.
Lay frame on backside of paper. Trace outside and inside of frame. Cut on traced lines. Glue paper to front of frame.
Glue rick rack around outside edges of frame. Glue buttons and button stacks as shown.
Tips:
Use multiple colors of floss together to tie buttons for an extra burst of color.
