Adhere lavender paper to two pieces of cardstock to make the front and back covers.
Hole punch four holes, evenly spaced along one short edge of cover. Punch holes in the same place on the back cover and all pages.
Trace and cut out a 3” circle of the other lavender print. Glue in place.
Draw a rounded wing pattern on scrap paper. Trace one on aqua paper and cut out.
On computer, make and print out the words: Princess Diary. Cut into a 2 ½” circle. Glue circle and wing in place.
Cut two tinsel stems in half. String one piece through top hole of all covers and pages. String one end of tinsel stem through both buttonholes of a button. String the other end of tinsel stem through buttonholes in the other direction. Twist ends together behind button. Repeat for other three holes.
Use hot glue to adhere two buttons to the wing.
Cut ribbon in half. Glue one ribbon end to center of right diary edge. Glue a button over it. Adhere a gem to center of button. Repeat on the back cover.
