Supplies:
  • Cut-Outs Buttons: #2408 (4 cards), #2411 (2 cards), #2401 (1 card)
  • La Mode® Buttons: #2064 (1 card), #31401 (2 cards)
  • 6 round sew-thru buttons, any size: ivory
  • Favorite Findings™ #700 Button Shank Remover
  • 5 drawer unfinished wood dresser
  • Scrapbooking paper: 2 brown prints
  • Acrylic paint: Ivory
  • Large flat paintbrush
  • Brown dye inkpad
  • Paper adhesive
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • 4 silk dogwood flowers
  • Ruler
  • Scissors or papercutter
  • Pencil

Instructions:
  1. Paint dresser ivory. Let dry.
  2. Measure drawer front. Cut 5 papers to fit. Measure dresser top. Cut paper to fit. Measure dresser side. Cut 2 papers to fit. Adhere papers.
  3. Rub inkpad around all paper edges to give an aged look.
  4. Remove all button shanks.
  5. Layer six stacks of buttons as shown. Glue together with an ivory sew-thru button behind each stack. Hot glue to drawer fronts and one to top of dresser.
  6. On dresser top, glue flowers. Glue black buttons as flower centers.
Tips:
  • Refer to photo for placement and assembly.
  • Remove shanks from buttons: hold inside a clear plastic bag. Clip shanks from backs of buttons. The bag will keep the shank from shooting away. Without the bag, eye protection should be worn.
