Supplies:
  • Boutique Appliques: #249 (2 cards), #251 (2 cards), #257 (1 card)
  • Favorite Findings™ Round Buttons: #404, #444
  • Blank journal
  • Scrapbook paper: black monotone zebra
  • White cardstock
  • Ribbon: 2 ½” zebra grosgrain, ¼” satin hot pink and white, ⅝” satin black
  • 1” wide strips of tulle: black, pink
  • Paper adhesive of choice
  • Hot glue gun and glue
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

Instructions:
  1. Measure cover of journal. Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper to that measurement. Adhere to front and back journal covers.
  2. Glue zebra ribbon to front cover, wrapping ends to the inside of the cover.
  3. Cut white cardstock to glue to inside of front cover.
  4. Cut tulle and remaining ribbons to 6” lengths. Tie to metal spine of journal.
  5. Glue appliques to front cover. Layer and glue buttons to fill in design.
Tips:
  • Refer to photo for placement and assembly.
  • Tie at least 20 pieces to the spine to make it look full.
